Coloring books are where most kids start to develop their artistic dexterity. One is to laminate it and use it as a placemat for them to put their dinner plate on and eat their dinner off of They will be proud as punch to sit down at the table with their own artwork on display at it. Another is to put it in a display folder with clear sleeves to display both sides of their picture this works well because your child can go to their display folder and look at their work and also you will have a neat folder to display their work for years to come, and the other is to stick it up on their bedroom window so when they are inside they can see the picture but when they are playing outside they can see the other picture that they have colored in. He will soon be old enough that in a year or so we will be able to break out the paints and see what he is like using them on the Coloring Pages. I know he will love this although I am already nervous at the idea of the chaos it could make! I am sure his eyes will go wide the first time I mix two colors together to make a brand new one, such as red and yellow combining to make orange. It is so rewarding to see his progress over time as he learns without knowing he is doing so. I can really see how his ability to concentrate has improved.
