It is important to make our children recognize every color, and differentiate between them. These activities are always fun activities that involve education too.

Encouraging Creativity. By having your children take part in coloring activities such as online coloring or printable coloring sheets you are encouraging their creativity. Helping a child develop their imagination and creativity will help them learn to express themselves. Some children may have a difficult time expressing themselves but as they continue to be creative they will often start to open up more readily.
It's great that we have this enjoyment of Spiderman in common, it helps us connect and gives me a feeling of having a better bond with my son. I can talk to him about the Spiderman stories of my youth and his action packed adventures. Maybe it makes me a little "cooler", in his eyes, or at least I hope so!
The material. Some coloring books offer the ability for the child to simply run over the surface with the pens or crayons provided, and it will turn out to be the right color regardless. Some are more like paint books, and some have magic marker surfaces and come with markers that will not show up on any surface but the specially prepared book pages. Choose the book that best suits you and your child. If you are worried about markings on the walls, then don't select a pack of basic crayons, get something that uses special crayons. If you want your child to exercise their own creativity and not have to fit in the lines or color schemes planned, get basic pages. It is up to you.
Coloring pages are a great way to entertain children during travel or on a rainy day. Once a child has grasped the basics, they may color to their heart's content with very little supervision required by parents. In addition to occupying a child's time and imagination, handling crayons can prepare a child's brain and hands for skills required to learn handwriting. While an adult may feel the sky must always be blue and the grass green, a child will experiment with all of the colors. Be sure to show pride in your child's creation and reserve a spot on the refrigerator for their best works of art.
